Homophones are words that sound the same but have different meanings. In this little box there are 32 homophone cards. I have included all the Year 5 and Year 6 homophones your child has to learn as a requirement of the National Curriculum. Teaching children homophones helps them to widen their vocabulary by learning the meaning of new words and also provides an opportunity to practise and improve spelling.
